1.4 SUBMITTALS

B. Submit manufacturer's product data and installation instructions.
1.5 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING
- A. Delivery: Deliver materials to site in manufacturer's
original, unopened containers and packaging, with labels clearly identifying
product name and manufacturer.
B. Storage: Store materials in a clean dry area indoors in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. Keep containers sealed until ready for use.
C. Handling: Protect materials during handling and installation to prevent damage or contamination.

A. Expansion-Contraction Joint Filler: SEALTIGHT FIBRE Expansion Joint.
1. Description: Resilient, flexible, nonextruding, expansion-contraction joint filler. Cellular fibers securely bonded together, uniformly saturated with asphalt.

PART 3 EXECUTION
3.1 EXAMINATION
- A. Examine areas to receive expansion-contraction joint filler. Notify Architect if conditions are not acceptable. Do not begin installation until unacceptable conditions have been corrected.
3.2 INSTALLATION
- A. Install expansion-contraction joint filler in
accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
B. Position joint filler against forms, at interrupting objects or columns, and against abutting structures before concrete placement.- C. Install joint filler 1/2 inch (13 mm) below concrete surface.
D. Seal with pavement joint sealant.
3.3 PROTECTION
- A. Protect pavement joint sealant from traffic until fully cured.
